Buyers Services

Buying a home is one of the most important decisions you will make. That is why it is in your best interest to choose an experienced real estate agent who listens to and understands your needs and has detailed knowledge of the area in which you want to live.

When you first meet with a real estate agent at our office, the conversation will typically revolve around the type of home you want, the neighborhoods you are interested in, home prices, transportation, schools, etc.

Financing:

Your agent will also want to talk to you about financing. In today's Massachusetts real estate market, Sellers and Sellers agents will likely require a 'pre-approval letter' before the seller will accept an offer to purchase. Our agents will want to discuss the price range of homes that meet your criteria and will recommend that you obtain a 'pre-approval letter' from a mortgage professional. A mortgage lender representative will be able to help you determine the price you are able to afford in order to purchase a home. Determining factors might include, sales price, down payment, current interest rates and of course your financial situation including income and outstanding debt. Our agents have lists of local bank and mortgage representative who can meet with you and determine your potential mortgage amount, all with no real obligation on your part.
